MICHELLE

Tears fall down
as Heaven opens up its door
to take a dear loved one
that can't be with us anymore

The pain tears deep
wounds seem like they'll never heal
we left it in your hands God
so it must've been your will

I know she's in a safe place
more wonderful than we know
walking with the Lord
no longer feeling pain or woe

Michelle was like a rose
beautiful, yet forlorn
but even something so lovely
can get tangled in the thorns

Cause life can leave you empty
getting hurt can wound the heart
it can cause you to stop caring
tearing your whole life apart

When things you love or wanted
or a future that seemed bright
suddenly falls into darkness
as if someone switched off the light

It is sad when this happens
changes come like the wind
usually too late when noticed
a broken hearts never easy to mend

We can ask each other a question
could we have done anything more
to help this fallen angel
fight her way out of this war

We tried to pick up the pieces
though endless efforts seemed to fail
it was hard for some to be there
by her side through out this hell

But one thing is certain
I know this in my heart
Michelle was truly loved
memories shall never depart

Memories of Michelle frozen in time
this poem is for you as I cry
Even though I'll see you again someday
To you Michelle, my friend, Good-bye!
